Opened in 1986, Water Mania was located on 192 across from the entrance to Celebration, the 36-acre attraction – seen here in the late 1980s – featured water slides, a wave pool, miniature golf, beach volleyball courts, a walk-through maze, and a concert stage. The park closed in September 2005, not long after the damage from hurricane Charlie. The site is now home to Golden Coral,a hotel and an apartment complex.
