We stepped outside of Polk County this week and participated in a Hundred Acre Wood celebration at KSU, giving an overview of the life of Sterling Holloway. It was a great opportunity to meet young adults and Pooh lovers in an educational setting!

PCHS hosted a program for third graders at Westside Elementary today called The Cherokee People. Sherri Garrett, Patty Rogers, Rachael Truitt & Arleigh Johnson enjoyed sharing artifacts, singing the Cherokee alphabet, telling stories and making crafts with this great group of students! This event was paired with Cedartown Kiwanis members, including Rhonda Turner, who gave out new English dictionaries to every student, a yearly initiative. PCHS welcomes students to visit the museum, but also takes history on the road! We hope to see you soon!
