Due to city road construction Seminole Valley Trail is closed from Seminole Valley Road on Thursday, July 6th to Friday, July 7th. You can reach Ushers Ferry by taking Ushers Ridge Drive from Seminole Valley Road. Turn left, onto River Parkway, and continue to Seminole Valley Trail. Turn left at Seminole Valley Trail and you can reach the main gates of Ushers Ferry.

Cedar Rapids City Manager Jeff Pomeranz presented City Council Members with his proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 at a special council meeting on February 7. The proposed budget serves to allocate resources and establish a direction for the City’s programs and services for the coming year. Council is scheduled to vote on the proposed budget in March 2022.
