Summer Fest weekend was very busy at the Heritage Center. We loved seeing all the visitors stop in. If you were not able to join our 140th anniversary service in person, here is the recording of that from Sunday, July 26.

We have had a lot of donations come in this year and are busy cataloging them. Recognize any of the people in these photos? We'd like to identify them.

We are so excited to share this news! We have been working with the State Historical Society of North Dakota on a digitization project. Using seed money from a generous donation from the Central Cass class of 1985, along with other community donations and a grant from the Casselton Community Endowment Fund, we were able to sponsor the digitization of the Casselton Reporter/Cass County Reporter microfilmed issues from its beginning to 2015.

The project is now complete, and the papers are OCR searchable at

https://ndarchives.historyarchives.online/home

Click on the “See All” next to titles and start typing in Cass and the papers will show. You can search with many different word and date filters.

We are so thankful to those who donated to this project. Happy history searching!
