Museum season is coming to an end! Celebrate our last day with SPOOKY FLASHLIGHT TOURS. 👻 You need something to do with the kids during the day before trick-or-treating anyway, so spend it with us!

This guided experience is included with admission, and admission is FREE if you wear your costume! The 11am and 12pm tours will be guided by Janice Crane, and the 1pm and 2pm tours will be guided by junior docent Ash Nelson. You can bring your own flashlight, or borrow one of ours. Tour space is limited, so register in the link in the comments.

We'll draw the winner for the Mt. Hood Meadows Lift Tickets at 3pm and then shut it down until March 1. Don't have tickets yet? Buy them through the other link in the comments. 🏔⛷

THIS WEEK IN HISTORY: happy (actual) 100th birthday to the Bridge of the Gods! 🎉

The Bridge fully opened for traffic on October 29, 1926, and the ceremonial handshaking, running to meet, and first car crossing were held the preceding Saturday. With 25 feet of center decking still to lay, wood beams connected the two halves for the purpose of ceremony.

Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Tickets on sale at the museum during our regular business hours. The drawing will take place at the museum at 3pm on 10/31. You do not have to be present to win. Just like Casino Cruise, proceeds will be split between the museum and the PTO.

Coming up this Thursday! Join us at Gorges B**r at 5:30pm for "Bridge of the Odd: Sidenotes from 'Riveting History' research." Learn about all the interesting, weird, dramatic, or otherwise offbeat things we found while working on the Bridge of the Gods exhibit research.

Our friends at Gorges are slingin' 1920s cocktails, probably sans prune brandy. What does that have to do with the Bridge of the Gods? You have to come to find out! Attending this pub talk counts for a stamp on the Bridge of the Gods Downtown Centennial Celebration passport.
