It was so fun the past few years, we thought we’d do it again! Mark those calendars and make sure to join us for Christmas in July at the Carthage Museum.

Come check out the Museum’s booth at today’s Buggy festival! We are raffling off a one night stay at the beautiful Old Buggy Inn. $5/ticket, or get 5 tickets for $20. New trivia, Tyson & Jones display, and merch are on hand. Can’t wait to see you!

Raffle winner will be drawn at 3; presence not required to win.

New temporary display at the Carthage Museum! ⚾️Baseball through the years here in Sweet Carthage. Special thanks to the Rettig family for the loan of some special objects.

The museum is open Sundays from 2-5, and by appointment. This is *not* a permanent exhibit, so if you’re interested in seeing it, make sure to stop by soon.

Today, we celebrate 25 years of preserving the everyday history of our town and the people who call it home.

From that first Pre-Opening invitation to today, the museum has remained a place for stories, memories, and shared roots. We invite you to visit, reflect, and spend a quiet afternoon with local history.

Open Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. Free admission.

This tiny bit of Carthage cheer is $6 and shatterproof. It shows the No. 11 Top Buggy from the Tyson and Jones catalog. We made only one hundred. A fresh buggy design will arrive next year.

Excited to join the Carthage Elementary School Fall Festival this year! Thanks to all the kids (and parents, we see you) for stopping by our trunk.
