We have a bunch of RC planes hanging from the ceiling.....this is one of the newest...a PIPER CUB. RC means Remote Controlled and yes these can actually fly. Come on out to the museum and check them out for yourself! Saturday and Sunday 11 to 3!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? WE CAN'T!!!!!! What?.....The James Rogers McConnell AIR MUSEUM has been open for A WHOLE YEAR this weekend!!!! We opened on September 23rd of 2023! Woohoo!!! It's been a GREAT year for the museum! It is so well received by all!!! We truly appreciate all of you who have been to our museum, and so many of you have left some great comments in our guest book!!! We also want to say a HUGE thank you to our volunteers, John, Frank, and Sue, you guys help keep us open!!! So....if you have not been in, please think about putting it on your calendar for this weekend (or next) !
We are open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 3 and other times by appointment...just text 910-695-5216 to schedule!

We have a bunch of new additions for you all to see at the Museum! This "lady" (yes, she is a manequin, but keeps scaring us as she looks so real) is wearing a Navy uniform from the Vietnam era! We have new BLUE ANGELS items and some really interesting F111 items just in! Come on out and take a look! Free Admission, as always, but we sure do appreciate donations! Never any pressure, this museum is for the Community!

Happy St. Patrick's Day folks!!!! The Museum had a fun entry in Pinehurst's parade yesterday! So many folks were out to see the parade and it was all really fun!!! Have a happy day! Come on out and see us today! 11:00 to 3:00 WE ARE OPEN!!!

Hi Folks! Why the happy light bulb? WE NOW HAVE VERY BRIGHT LIGHTING IN THE HANGAR! Yay!!! It really is amazing! A big improvement! You'll be able to see the SE5, the Long EZ, the hot air balloon basket and much more!!!! Saturdays and Sundays 11-3!
