Rachael Lambin, MD was our presenter after the NAA Member's Meeting Saturday. Attendendees were shown ways that art therapy can enhance creativity and reduce stress. If you would like to see a specific topic covered at one of our meetings that is open to the public, let us know. Or if you would like to present an art related topic or demonstration send us an email.

The Out of the Box Show is on exhibit until June 19. Forty-five member artists submitted 150 entries in all categories. The Featured Artists Shows by photographer Andrew C. Strom and abstract artist, Raindog are also on exhibit during this time. Please visit the gallery at 449 W. King Street, Carson City 12-4pm Tuesday-Sunday and be sure to vote for People's Choice. Drop in to see the art exhibit of Addison Buckner, the 2026 winner of the NAA Student Scholarship Award. Addison is a graduating senior at Douglas High School. She will be attending WNC in the fall with future plans of furthering her art career as a high school art teacher. Addi has had numerous awards for her art and credits her high school art teacher, Mrs. Zoe Shorten for pushing her to be a better artist.

Addi's show runs through June 14th at the Nevada Artists Association Gallery, 449 W. King St., Carson City. The gallery hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 12-4pm.
