White County Historical Society To promote interest in White County History and Genealogy, and announce historical society programs We also oversee Carmi's Old Graveyard.

The White County Historical Society operates and maintains four museums, Ratcliff Inn, L. Haas Museum, Robinson-Stewart House, and Matsel Cabin, as well as, the Mary Smith Fay Genealogy Library. Our funding comes through membership dues, donations, grants, and fundraisers. We promote our county's history through educational and entertaining events with the public including 2nd grade tea parties, P

ioneer Days for 5th graders, living history events, and museum tours.
