Joaquin Turner Gallery Tucked away in Carmel's historic Pantiles Court, The Joaquin Turner Gallery is an intimate bohemian gallery in the spirit of Carmel's early art colony.

Featuring the work of local award-winning artists Joaquin Turner and David Seibert, this artist owned and run gallery is designed to give visitors the feeling of stepping back in time to the days of the city's early fledgling art colony. Come in, meet the artists, and explore their unique vision of Monterey County's dramatic landscape.

*Located in the courtyard directly across the street from the Carmel Art Association (behind Lafayette).

At the ol' gallery - a Karl Schmidt triptych from 1919 on the table and one of my paintings (in progress, below) of the first French Consulate in the U.S. The adobe is located on Lake El Estero in the middle of Monterey. It was home of the French consul to Mexican California in the 1840s (now the Monterey Visitor's Center). This piece is an ode to the great Charles Rollo Peters!
