It’s always dreamy to work with .swanz because he makes every project feel like it’s the most important and special collaboration he’s ever done. These clients were also special because they had an open mind about their space, and a vision.
But here’s the magic once the beautiful fish arrived:
Client: “SO STOKED!!!!”
Jonathan: “Your installation is an amazing collaboration between my fish as marks and your creativity as lines of movement. My whole adult life, I used to read every publication of ,then life got really really busy. The busy was so welcomed because I live by the motto, “I’d rather be busy than bored” However, today I had the opportunity to be by myself, for the first time in years, and I finally got read VF cover to cover. The incredible writers, content and beauty of the magazine brought me back.

The Arts are interwoven in our daily lives in so many ways especially when we take the time to let them in.

Today I’m so inspired, reflecting on the California art scene and the incredible LACMA story and passion for the Arts.

I am proud to be a 4th generation Californian and to represent so many incredible California artists.

In today’s dynamic world, it was so refreshing to spend my day tech free to read a magazine! Cheers to the Arts 💗

“Wandering Souls” by and Albert Gu has wandered to a new home. This one of a kind, bronze sculpture, was created and inspired by Karen’s Sausalito Six series.

The name describes a circle of European modernists and émigré artists—many connected to Surrealism—who found refuge and freedom in Sausalito’s houseboat community. They blended European avant-garde ideas with the experimental, bohemian spirit of Northern California.

We have admired this special piece in the gallery for some time and will really miss it!
