The Artist In Me...
...wants to connect with the artist in you. I have a passion for painting. Oil, acrylic, watercolor - I love it all! I’m most inspired by life, i.e. living things, from animals to landscapes and everything in-between. I sell my work, I win awards, but the thing I enjoy most is sharing my knowledge by teaching painting classes. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than to see a student’s joy when they try a stroke or a technique and it works for them!
Classes are 2 hours long and are for beginner to intermediate artists. I choose paintings that have a teaching element to them and will offer a little challenge but will allow students to feel successful at the end of 2 hours. One of the most common remarks after finishing a class is, “I did better than I thought I would”. I have repeat students that I’ve seen make significant improvements with each class and I’m so happy for them!
There are two ways to participate in a class. The first is to join a class at my location at 4727 Clawson Drive in Campbell, NY. The second is to get a group together and hold a class at your location. The cost is $20/per participant at my home, or $25/per participant if I travel to yours (or another facility). I hold (2) classes per day at 2:30-4:30 and 6-8pm Tues. through Saturday. I take a break Sunday & Monday :).
