2014 represented the anniversary of several milestones in Cameron History. See their celebration on Facebook and the web. The Historic Cameron Film from 1939 is 75 years old. A huge fire swept through the heart of Cameron, Mo., on Monday, destroying century-old buildings that were cornerstones of the community's identity and history.

The Depot Museum will be OPEN on Saturday 10 am - 4 pm for the Airing of the Quilts. Along with our regular displays of ...

The Depot Museum will be OPEN on Saturday 10 am - 4 pm for the Airing of the Quilts. Along with our regular displays of Cameron History and Railroad memorabilia we will have several heirloom quilts on display. Among the quilts will be the 1934 Rebekahs Signature Quilt with embroidered signatures of Cameron residents from that era. Admission is free.

The following businesses and organizations have shared they will be displaying quilts during the 'airing', with more to come:
- Cameron Depot Museum (10-4)
- Cameron Pet Supply
- The New Life Shoppe (window display)
- God and Country Gifts
- Creative Cafe
- Cameron Public Library (10-2)
- various Main Street merchants, and local quilter Rose Hamer has indicated she will have a display downtown.
