Some traditions do more than mark the passing of years..they hold the very spirit of who we are. For sixty-eight years, this community has gathered for the sound of hoofbeats, the laughter of families, and the shared pride of a place that remembers its roots.

This year, as we celebrate the 68th Annual Calico Rock Lions Club Rodeo-Champions, Legends & Pioneers-the theme speaks directly to the heart of what we preserve here at the Calico Rock Museum every single day. The faces, the families, and the stories that built this rodeo are the same ones we honor on our walls.

We are deeply grateful to the Lions Club and to every volunteer who has kept this tradition alive for sixty-five years. You are the heartbeat of Calico Rock.

Beginner Watercolor Classes are officially coming to the Art Center-created for those who have been wanting to learn, explore, and simply begin. The cost for this class covers the instructor and supplies. The museum offers this class as a service to our community.

The Calico Rock Lions Club Parade will step off at the intersection of Park Street & Highway 56 (at Mitchell's Park Street Pharmacy) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13. The parade will travel down Highway 56. At the intersection of Highway 5, the parade will turn left onto Main Street and conclude at the Sgt. Mike Stephen White River Bridge at the Calico Rock Museum.

The parade starts at Park Street and concludes on Main Street. This is the opposite route of the Christmas parade.

PARADE LINE UP IS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with line-up. Please be in place by 10:30 a.m. to participate.

This is our 65th Annual Lions Club Rodeo Parade...let's make it the biggest one ever! The theme is "Champions, Legends & Pioneers."
