True Gritz

True Gritz The Artist People are always asking me…how did you ever get started in sandblasting? We could use either an acid or sandblast our project. True Gritz ®

I first learned the basic technique of sandblasting in 1978, when my high school art teacher gave each of us students a piece of glass and said we could etch whatever we wanted on it. Immediately, I volunteered to do all the sandblasting on each students pane of glass and instantly became fascinated with the process. I just plain fell in love with this form of art and knew that someday I wanted to

have an art studio of my own, and do just that. In 1991 I started True Gritz®. Over the past 46years I have experimented and taught myself to work on other mediums; besides just glass. Thru a lot of trial and error, I developed my own technique of sandblasting. Whether you receive a piece of my work as a gift, or give it to someone else, I hope you enjoy your unique piece of art, as much as I did in making it.
