We have appointed David Young to chair the Collections Committee, a standing committee designated in the new bylaws. He will be seeking members for the committee, leading a project to catalog our collections, and addressing other responsibilities stated in the bylaws. He will also be contacting the state archives office to get some free consulting as we address preservation needs. He will be working with Seth to get the WIFI up and running as well. This will take the current information about the collection and build upon it with information from members and community members about the items in the collection and help it be available on the website. this will enhance visibility, increase interest and research options and may boost fundraising as well.
