The Butternut Area Historical Society is once again sponsoring Village Fest, a community pot luck, on Saturday, September 12 starting at 4 pm at the Village pavilion in Butternut. The event features brats ,coffee and live entertainment by George Faltinosky on accordion and John Lynch on drums. W**e, soda and b**r are available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to pass if possible. This event has been a way to celebrate our history through the sharing of old fashioned foods. So dust off grandma's old recipes and please include a copy when you arrive. We are trying to make a cook book of these traditional dishes. Everyone who brings a dish will be eligible for a drawing of fabulous prizes. Come on down and enjoy some fellowship and community commraderie. It;s completely free and handicap accessible.
