This course will mainly focus on throwing clay on the wheel. Taught by professional potter Tom Wieloch, the course consists of 4 separate classes, held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30pm.

This is a rolling course, so students can register anytime during the month, and can also make-up any missed classes.

This class will introduce students to the different types of clay, firing requirements, terminology, and techniques for handling clay.

Intro to Clay will be taught by one of our ceramics instructor, Steve Harding, and is a good prerequisite to our 4-week Ceramics and Pottery Course, but is not a required prerequisite.
