Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum - Burr Oak, Iowa Welcome to Laura Ingalls Wilder's childhood home in Iowa! Our mission is to present Laura Ingalls Wil Open 7 days a week through summer season.

May: Mon-Sat 10-4 (no tours after 3:00) and Sunday noon to 4 (no tours after 3:00). Memorial Day through Labor Day: Mon-Sat 9-5 (no tours after 4:00) and Sunday noon to 4 (no tours after 3:00). Fall hours: Sept and Oct: Thursday - Saturday 10-4. No tours after 3:00. Closed Sunday- Wed. Last day of the season is Oct. 15th

Closed Oct. 16 - April 30, 2023

Tours last an hour. $8 per adult, $6 children ages 6-17.

Are these yours? These lovely journals were left behind during Laura Days on Saturday. Contact the museum at phone number 563-735-5916 and we will get them back to the owner, once we confirm your name. Also found was a child's bonnet in the parking lot of the Burr Oak Lutheran Church.
