[we] contain multitudes

The wild of changing things—
the river carries us down its course
wearing us into smooth stone
shaping us in its current.
The path before us open
spreading like veins of a leaf.
Past and present wilt;
we have filled them, emptied them,
proceeding unto the future.
- Greta Scheff & Lillian Anderson

This exhibition represents our hopes and fears for the future, our resolve to learn from the past, and our willingness to live in the present. In this disjointed world, art reminds us of our common uncertainty and potential. Each project in this capstone exhibit examines and reveals the multitudes we contain.

Exhibitors: Lilian Anderson | Jae Badaracco | Cielo Barrios | Ella Blanchard | Max Browne | Abigail Caron | Aminah Carrington | Nathan Conti | Josue Correa | Claudia Derezinski | Mya Duncan | Jacob Dwyer | Quentin Haupt | Evan Jones | Will Killion | Josie Mansfield | Riley Momenee | Patient Mwibeleca | Bailey Pettis | Gabrielle Shedyak | Greta Scheff | Taylor Smith | Gianella Torres | Bryce Youk

The exhibit will be up until Friday, April 24th!

In 1997, Apple launched a campaign that didn’t just sell computers; it changed how a generation of Americans saw themselves and the technology around them. The Think Different campaign celebrated the rebels, the misfits, and the dreamers who pushed the art and technological innovation forward. Nearly 30 years later, its message is more relevant than ever and The Champlain College Art Gallery has an opportunity to present a rare and personal collection of Think Different campaign memorabilia, artifacts, and iconic Apple hardware opening during Champlain Weekend, October 2026.

Working in partnership with Professor of Computer Science, Brian Hall, Sc.D, together, we will tell the story of how Apple’s boldest marketing moment not only shaped a personal life trajectory but also an entire generation’s relationship with technology.

Your gift, this Giving Day, will directly support the museum-quality materials needed to bring this special collection to life. Please join us in giving our Champlain Community and greater Burlington community a firsthand experience with the spirit of thinking differently, right here on campus.
