You won’t want to miss the stunning fall foliage taking over the grounds this weekend. Come soak in the gorgeous autumn colors, tour our historic buildings, and take a scenic stroll along the trails down to the Trout River!

🎈 Fun at the Farm (June): A free-admission day packed with traditional games and hands-on fun for kids!

🎄 Christmas with Almanzo (December): A magical event to kick off your holiday season with historical warmth.

Behind the scenes, we’re continuously working to restore and maintain our historic buildings and homestead. Looking ahead, our dream is to expand the site with new buildings and create an interactive educational play area where children can experience history firsthand!

We are deeply honored to receive an extraordinary gift for the Wilder Homestead!

A heartfelt thank you to Carol Shea Garrow, Glenda Smith Rowe, and the Ellenburg Central School Class of 1963 for their incredibly generous donation: an original, handwritten letter from Laura Ingalls Wilder, dated October 20, 1953.

Holding a piece of Laura’s history in our hands is a powerful experience, and this exceptional artifact is an irreplaceable addition to our museum’s collection. Preserving and sharing the legacy of the Wilder and Ingalls families is at the heart of what we do, and community support like this makes it all possible.
