Become Part of the Legacy - 1812 Bicentennial Peace Garden Trail - Sharing the rich story of Binational Niagara and the Southern Great Lakes through architecture, gardens and history. An Anniversary to Remember: Between June 18, 2012 and December 31, 2014 hundreds of events will be taking place throughout binational Niagara and the Southern Great Lakes to commemorate and celebrate the Bicentennial

of the War of 1812 and the changes it made to our continent and bilateral relationships. The arts, cultural, horticultural and community economic development sectors have chosen to focus on the 200 years of peace between Canada and the United States and to create a Peace Garden Trail - a legacy project that will link the many new and exisiting heritage, architectural and garden sites and events in our cross-border region under one permanetly themed trail that will continue to grow and flourish beyond 2014.
