The Museum Studies program prepares museum professionals who are distinguished by their versatility and creative problem-solving ability. The program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach including theoretical and practical instruction and experience. In addition to the required courses that provide the basic framework for understanding the growing discipline of museum studies, students can specialize in one of three areas of museum work: collections management & curatorial practice, museum experience & education, or museum operations.
