Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY 20th Annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY will be Saturday, August 20th, 2022.

To promote and celebrate our Puerto Rican and Hispanic traditions by planning events that will enrich our culture, and maintain its viability. To educate our youth today for future generations by faithfully engaging in the preservation of our heritage.

It is truly sad to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton. Although she was not Hispanic, she made it a point to help our community by ensuring that her Imagination Library program included bilingual English-Spanish books. The Imagination Library sends free monthly books to children in Buffalo and throughout Erie County. If you brought your children to El Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros at the Belle Center in recent years, you likely signed them up to receive these monthly books. Dolly was not only one of the greatest country music singers, but she was also a dedicated philanthropist and humanitarian. Her work speaks for itself. Rest in heavenly peace, Queen. You will truly be missed.

So cool. Here we have our two MCs dancing right before the parade started. We took a page from Bad Bunny's Super Bowl book and had our MCs dressed up. Alexia in a baby blue Lady Gaga type Dress with the National flower of Puerto Rico, La Flor de Maga. Octavio wore a tan suit like Benitos.... Wepa.... The crowd totally got it!!
