Buffalo Gap Historic Village West Texas village with authentic buildings and artifacts from the 1870s to 1920s.

Featuring more than a dozen buildings and thousands of artifacts from the last 50 years of the West Texas Frontier (roughly from the 1880s to the 1920s) this Historic Village is authentic all the way through. Period buildings, most of which have been lovingly relocated from their original locations in West Texas, include Taylor County's first courthouse and jail, a schoolhouse, doctor's office, barbershop, blacksmith, train depot, family homes, and many more. All in the tranquil, tree-filled community of Buffalo Gap, just minutes south of Abilene, Texas.
