The Museum is proud to dedicate the 2026 Boonville Days Texas Heritage Festival to the memory of Ron Schmidt, a long time Museum supporter, and a distinguished Community Leader, who lived a life in the service of others. He was a proud Marine who served with honor, and brought quiet leadership and purpose to all he did. Ron loved Boonville Days and the Museum, as well as many other countless local nonprofits, boards, and causes.

He will be remembered for his dedication to civic life, his generous spirit, and the gifts of his time, insight and heart to all he did. His impact on Bryan-College Station will be felt for generations www.brazosvalleymuseum.org/boonville-days.❤️
