Happy Memorial Day!! We are OPEN TODAY from 10-5! Get out of the rain and into our retail gallery:) What a wonderful way to stay dry!! We have fine art, ceramics, photography, woodworking, textile art, fiber art, handmade jewelry, upcycled design, glass art and vintage furniture & glassware. All handmade pieces are created by 25 different local artists!

Glass Artist, Heather Kelly! Heather makes beautiful stained glass incorporating Mandala and Flower of Life designs. She also makes beautiful “Zome” lighting that blends architectural elements of a dome and zonohedron. Signs of spring inside and out today! We welcome you to come into the gallery to find the perfect piece for mom to celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend. Flowers by will last for years and our 4 jewelers in house create hand crafted, original and unique pieces for adornment. Add in the many other artist’s and craftsmen’s items in our space and the antiques and collectibles downstairs, and you’re sure to find something perfect for gifting mom this weekend. Open daily, run by artists.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: MARI EOSCO is an upcycle artist . Her passion is to highlight the earth’s need for less human consumption by repurposing others waste into unique, functional pieces! She makes handbags from leftover found fabrics, billboard signs, belts, firefighter jackets, sailboat sails, you name it! She also makes door mats from upcycled snowmaking hoses and coin purses from old turf! Her pieces are sometimes whimsical in nature, always creative and have a story behind them!

What Mari says about her work, “My goal is simple; to encourage people to think about trash. To realize it does not just magically go away. If I can get a few people thinking by creating things out of what-would-be-trash, mission accomplished. If people change a habit here or there; bonus! And if someone is inspired to take it further, that would be icing on the cake!!!!! (which is compostable)”

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SUSIE COOKE of creates handmade one-of-a-kind functional and visual fiber art in the form of wearables and home embellishments, using traditional Nuno and wet felting techniques. Working exclusively with luxurious natural fibers and earthy tones, Susie draws deep inspiration from the rugged beauty of the Maine coast where she lives and recreates. The textures and colors of weathered rock, driftwood, and sea-washed shores are reflected throughout her work.
Stop in for a visit at the gallery and see a selection of her pieces ranging from soft lighting to pillows, baskets and wall hangings to name a few.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: JOHH ROGERS is a woodworker who describes himself as a “compulsive maker” working almost daily in his spacious workshop, constantly perfecting his methods. John tries to use native wood as much as possible. While he makes many wooden pieces, small to large, making tables and cabinets are his favorite projects. The table pictured here took 2.5 weeks of 8 hour days yet is a very affordable piece. “I’m not in it for the money,” he says. His greatest satisfaction is having people appreciate and use what he makes.
