🌱Root to Rise Campaign update!🌱

Thanks to matching donations, we have raised over $20k to support our sustainable urban agriculture initiatives and invest in GAP youth programming! Our 12 Garden Apprentices received hands-on instruction caring for our honeybee hives and extracted some delicious honey in the process. These pollinators will play an important role in building long-term biodiversity on our farm.

So far, we have harvested enough to supply over 10 farmstands with low-cost produce to our local community! Swipe to see some of the things we’ve been growing

🍁Our final Family Day weekend of the year is almost here!🍁

The leaves are changing colors, the days are getting shorter, and we're putting the farm to sleep. On October 17th and 18th, celebrate autumn with us! Enjoy fall crafts, house tours, and outdoor activities 🍂

Coinciding with Open House New York weekend, we will be offering exclusive tours that explore the architectural history that made cooking, growing, and storing food possible in this 17th century Dutch Farmhouse 🍳🏡

Happy first day of school to students, families, and educators! We hope everyone had a restful summer 😌 at the Wyckoff House, we are gearing up for another year of enriching education programs!

Onsite programs focus on our unique student-centered and hands-on approach to learning. Students will learn about the history of the site through inquiry and exploration. Swipe to see our offerings ➡️

Family Day Weekend last month was a blast! From books and stick bugs on Saturday to making salsa on Sunday, it was great to be in community together once again. Thanks to all of our guests who helped bring it alive! ☀️🌱🌎🌻

♻️Kinda chic to build resilient and sustainable infrastructure!

🪵Our Build-a-Berm days are continuing construction to create flood resistant infrastructure that will help to cultivate biodiversity by attracting new pollinators. Our next steps are to finish our final layers and plant flowers, fruit trees, and shrubs.
