Brooklyn artist Jonathan Blum is celebrating 60 years around the sun, and Arts Gowanus is marking the milestone with a retrospective exhibition showcasing 40

This morning at 4am, we finished hanging my retrospective. It's a big show with a over 60 pieces. It's divided into six sections; Before Foreheads, Early Forehead, Forehead Portraits, Rabbi Portraits, Animal Portraits, and Recent and Extremely Recent Work. The exhibition is comprehensive and, in my humble opinion, looks good. So if you're in Brooklyn anytime before July 6th, please come see my 60th Birthday Retrospective. The gallery will be open every day from 2-7pm. And if you're in Brooklyn right now, you're invited to the opening party which is TONIGHT! Thursday, June 19, 6-10pm.
