Announcing the METAVERSE Arts Certificate Program!

No Prior knowledge of the tech mentioned is necessary, course is fully remote other than an IRL exhibition in NYC at the culmination which is optional for artists to attend

The Metaverse Arts Certificate program by Carrie Able Gallery is designed for artists and musicians who want to explore the limitless possibilities of the Metaverse. This certificate program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers the essential skills needed to create immersive and interactive experiences using cutting-edge technologies. The program will commence March 31st and culminate with an exhibition at the end of 2-month program
Through a combination of hands-on training and theoretical coursework, students will learn to design and develop metaverse environments using popular platforms such as Unity and Unreal. They will also gain knowledge in artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create unique and engaging experiences.
Upon completion of this certificate program, graduates will possess the skills necessary to create immersive, interactive environments that push the boundaries of traditional art and storytelling. They will be well-equipped to continue the exploration of their own creative practice in Metaverse Native Art. Instructors will include Carrie Able herself as well as pioneers in the field including the inventor of the first-ever virtual world in the 90s. While fully remote for the courseload, at the culmination of this 2-month-long program there will be an in-person exhibition at the Carrie Able Gallery in Brooklyn NYC.

Please join us next Wednesday, December 14 from 7-9pm for the opening reception of SURFACE SCOPE.

Featuring the work of 9 artists who have just completed our Fall 2022 Artist in Residence program, the physical exhibition will also feature a NFT drop on Nifty Gateway, allowing us to present new work in both our physical Brooklyn gallery space, and to an expanded audience in the community.

Additional viewings of the physical exhibition will be available through January 6, 2023.
