Another fantastic and beautiful silent auction item for you to bid on! This is an original watercolor painting by the renowned and talented David Galchutt. It is titled 'Sailing Ship' and is 13x13.5". Bidding starts at $100.00 and is valued at $450.00. This stunning nautical piece will look wonderful in any space.
Bidding ends on Sunday, May 24th at 2:00pm. The winner will be announced at 4:30pm. Bidding is in person at Manley Art Center and Gallery 433 Oak Ave,Tuesday - Saturday 11am-4pm.
David Galchutt is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, with a bachelors of fine arts in illustration. He has worked for a variety of clients, primarily in children's publishing, the toy industry and in giftware design. He wrote and illustrated a children's book that was published by Simon and Schuster entitled "There Was Magic Inside". For many years he was a regular contributor to Highlights Magazine for Children. He did a vast amount of toy design work for companies like Mattel and Playmates Toys where he did many illustrations for Barbie and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle lines.
