The Brockport Museum & Library of Local History is excited to announce a special event November 8th from 2:00-4:00 PM. We will host author Robin Flanigan, who will discuss her new book Secret Rochester. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Village Court room , 49 State Street in Brockport. Doors will open at 1:30 pm. Copies of Flanigan's book will be available for sale and signing!

The Brockport Cemetery Historic Ghostwalk is SOLD OUT. There are a LIMITED number of walk up spots, but tour group sizes are limited and folks might be turned away if those walk up spots fill.

But, I am still in need of ghosts and tour guides, if anyone is interested in assisting with the event! Please contact Derek Maxfield, Village Historian, at [email protected].

Hello All! I'm Derek Maxfield, the new Brockport Village Historian and Director of the Museum & Library of Local History. I am excited to introduce myself to the community. I am a retired professor of history and career professional historian, author, playwright, director, actor and public speaker.
