Explore diverse gardens, specimen trees, and a 45-room English style manor house filled with antiques and artwork, all chronicling the rich social history of the lives of one family over a span of more than 80 years. Blithewold was named in Yankee Magazine's 2010

In addition to their “Volunteer of the Year” title, each of our 2026 honorees received a framed print of one of Marjorie Van Wickle Lyon’s watercolor paintings.

Volunteers serve as greeters, museum docents, gardeners, photographers, and so much more.
