It’s a big weekend for Looky Loot Co., The Metaphysical Mama , and The Appalachian Psychopomp . We have 3 events this weekend. Hours will be altered some.

Friday from 8:30-10 will be the State Street Ghost Walk with Alesia Wood & Sleighter Davis. *We will be open normal hours this night.*

Saturday from 7-midnight we will be at The Stockyard for Witches Night Out.

Sunday we are collaborating for a Halloween Bash at The Bristol Hotel on the rooftop.

While I usually like to hide behind my computer (or television) screen, we’ve decided to put some faces behind this name in celebration of hitting 100 followers on our super brand new page. Coming at you live and undead from ROB-CON today (but just as fans), here’s our overdue introduction.

Harpies and Fiends, please give the most ghastly welcome to our resident scream queen herself, Heather B!
An established and incredibly talented mixed media artist and all around legend, Heather not only sources our videos and music from the dark portals one might find in their basement media cabinet, but she also runs Mallrat Magic AND wields that magic to enhance the vibes everywhere she goes.
She’s the graveyard ghoul of every spooky nerds dreams, she’s a wizard with statistics and research and grasping the nebulous strings of the universe to collate the badass vibe we’re all hunting, and she just is genuinely one of the coolest people you might ever get to know. Without Heather, these mallrats wouldn’t have a home to store their media, and they certainly wouldn’t know where or how to get ahold of it. If you need a witch of all ways to carry a dream and make it make sense, she’s your girl AND your fearless leader.
+5 to charisma, just saying.

As her most verbose vagrant assistant, I’m Tanith. I handle social media gibberish, occasionally get a kickball to the face from Apollo’s gift of prophetic planning, and do my best to make sure we’ve got our silver bullets and garlic ready for occasional outings on the haunted highways of Appalachia.
I’m burning a candle for us all in the dark, working my skeletal fingers to the bone on these suspiciously magical typewriter keys to make sure we keep this cursed little kingdom running (somewhat) smoothly.
I guess I’m also the one who conjures any other wraithlike purveyors of spooky wares while making sure to read the fine print on any Faustian bargains we might enter to get ahold of the goods for all our favorite fiends, but who’s keeping track?

Suffice to say, this idea wouldn’t work without us both, and I’ve already signed my dark bargain to hopefully keep it going for a long time.

We are Mallrat Media, and we’re a women owned micro shop located in the back of Bristol Boo-tique: a Curiosities & Metaphysical shop. We’d love to help you add to your physical media collection, deck out your hangout with sick posters, or provide you with some cool stickers to decorate your duct taped furniture that you just can’t let go.

With all the ramblings of a few mad misfits out of the way, we are grateful to have you all here as our (hopefully willingly captive) audience. For now we’re heading back to that portal out back that looks suspiciously like a hellmouth, but we’ll be back with more for you very soon.
