VARIETY AT THE PEMAQUID ART GALLERY: OILS AND PASTELS
Two of the 30 artists exhibiting this season at the Pemaquid Art Gallery are pastel painter Barbara Vanderbilt and oil painter Alexandra Perry-Weiss. Though their subjects and artistic backgrounds differ greatly, both exemplify the rich variety of work for which the gallery is known. See it for yourself by visiting the gallery in our wonderful Pemaquid Lighthouse park.

Saturday, July 11th, is the Artists at the Point day at Lighthouse Park. Artists from the Pemaquid Group of Artists will be painting "en plein aire". Come watch them while they work. It is always fun to watch different artists paint the lighthouse and it's surrouding area. Nothing ever comes out the same! Mediums include oils, watercolors and acrylics.
10 am til 4 pm. on Saturday.

So, you took your visitors to see the Pemaquid lighhouse yesterday....and the fog was so thick they couldn't see the water. Today, Sunday, is beautiful. Have them all jump in the car and drive to see our wonderful lighthouse in the sun.
While you are there visit the Pemaquid Art Gallery across the parking lot from the lighthouse. You will be so glad that you did.

Pemaquid Art Gallery Announces THE GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION FOR THE 2026 SEASON.

The Pemaquid Art Gallery at Lighthouse Park in Bristol invites the public to celebrate the opening of its 2026 season with a special Grand Opening Celebration on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come meet the gallery’s talented member artists, explore new works for the season, and enjoy delicious refreshments in a welcoming coastal setting. The event offers an opportunity for art lovers, visitors, and
community members alike to gather and celebrate another exciting summer of art at one of Maine’s cherished seasonal galleries.

PEMAQUID ART GALLERY Opens for the Season Memorial Day Weekend!
The Pemaquid Art Gallery at Lighthouse Park in Bristol will open its Pemaquid Art Gallery Opens for the Season Memorial Day Weekend
The Pemaquid Art Gallery at Lighthouse Park in Bristol will open its
doors for the 2026 season over Memorial Day weekend, welcoming visitors to explore the work of local artists and the beauty of Maine’s midcoast. The gallery showcases the creative talents of juried members from surrounding communities in Lincoln County.
Now entering its 98th season of continuous operation, the Pemaquid Art Gallery remains one of Maine’s longest-running art cooperatives. Each season brings a fresh selection of artworks that celebrate the region’s landscapes, working harbors, and coastal life.

The pre-season opening will take place Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25, with regular hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The official season will begin Friday, May 29, and extend through mid-October. Visitors can enjoy the scenic grounds of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park, and find fine art that captures the spirit of midcoast Maine.

PEMAQUID ART GALLERY CALL FOR NEW ARTISTS!

The Pemaquid Group of Artists will be jurying to select new member artists on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, for exhibit at the Pemaquid Art Gallery in our 98th season.
Artists interested in applying for membership are required to submit three recent, original works of art, a short resume and a completed application with their art at the gallery on Friday, April 10 between noon and 2 PM. The application with additional information and requirements is available for download at pemaquidartgallery.com. Please direct any
