Today's walk is a little farther and a lot slower. About a 45 minute drive to the east 😗 from PILH is the Sault Locks. We headed to the McArthur Lock to see the 21ft drop from Lake Superior to the St Marys River up close, but don't worry I sped up the 7ish minute drop to 21sec... enjoy my bobbling head instead

Grab a friend this Thursday, May 28th and come spend the day in Bay Mills. Here’s your itinerary:

☕ Start at Dancing Crane Coffee House & Roastery for their grand re-opening. Browse gifts from local artists, grab your favorite drink, and treat yourself a little.

🌊 Next, take a drive up to Gnoozhekaaning Museum - Point Iroquois Lighthouse for a walk along the beach. Hunt for cool rocks, watch for freighters passing through, and enjoy the Lake Superior views. (Pro tip: use the Marine Traffic app to track ships and learn more about them.)

🌸 On your way back, stop by the Brimley Bay Mills Farmer's Market plant sale from 4:00PM - 6:30PM. Pick up hanging baskets, tomato plants, pepper plants, flowers, and plenty of other spring favorites from local vendors.

🍽 Finish the evening at Bay Mills Resort & Casino for dinner at the Back Bay Grill & Games. They are known for delicious French onion soup, chicken wings, and more.
