The electronic counter has been pulled out with a final tally (3/25 to 5/20) north of 400,000 - a banner year for Brewster herring! In comparison, last year's unofficial count was around.200,000. There are still fish for visitors to see - mostly heading back to salt water- as well as gulls, turtles and other critters.
