This project is moving forward because people believe in it!

These businesses are more than donors.

They are community leaders choosing to invest in the next generation of kids and our little rural communities.

Why?

Because they understand that strong rural communities are built by investing in the people who call them home. Creating opportunities for children and families strengthens quality of life, helps attract and retain families, brings visitors to our region, supports local businesses, and contributes to the long-term vitality of our communities.

Today, we want to recognize and thank our corporate partners who have invested $5,000 or more in the Children’s Discovery Center.

Every partnership has brought us one step closer to opening the doors of the Children’s Discovery Center. As we enter this final stretch, we are looking for more businesses, families, and individuals who believe in what this project can mean for our region and want to be part of bringing it across the finish line.

And because of that incredible support, we are getting SO close to our capital campaign goal. But we’re not there yet.

To each of these corporate partners, THANK YOU. Thank you for stepping up. Thank you for believing in our kids and families. And thank you for investing in a stronger future for rural communities. 💚

Know someone who works for one of these incredible companies? Tag them below and help us say THANK YOU! We want their employees and teams to know how much their partnership means to our region.

These are just some of the many businesses, families, organizations, and individuals helping bring the Children’s Discovery Center to life.

Visit our website to see more of the partners behind this community project and learn how you can be part of what comes next. https://bit.ly/4yegJnk

We’re close. Let’s finish this together.

Partners in Play. Partners in Community. Partners in Rural.

Thankful for those investing in the next generation of rural communities! ✨

What a great day celebrating our community! 🦋💛

A huge thank you to the City of Breckenridge, MN for putting on such a wonderful Headwaters Day and giving our community a reason to come together, celebrate, and have some fun!

Thank you to everyone who came down to the park to PLAY! Whether you made a craft, tagged a monarch, joined in an activity, or simply stopped by our tent to learn more about the Discovery Center- loved getting to visit with you!

Thank you to Paul and Tonya Miranowski and Landmark Landscaping for generously donating the beautiful pollinator-friendly! 🌻🌿 They gave us a fun opportunity to teach kids and families about the important role native plants and pollinators play in supporting monarchs and other wildlife!!

Many thanks to Wahp and Breck Econo for their very generous donation of candy! We appreciate their continued support!

A special thank you to our volunteers, board members and their families who helped with the parade and our Pop-Up in the park. We are so grateful for everyone who gives their time and resources to help us share the mission of the Children’s Discovery Center and the exciting plans ahead for our community.

Days like today are a little glimpse of what the Children’s Discovery Center is all about.. kids learning through play, families spending time together, and a community coming together to create something special for the next generation. 🧡🦋

Thank you, Breckenridge!

🦋 We’re down at Wells Park! Come play with us! 🌼

Stop by the Children’s Discovery Center Pop-Up in the Park until 2 PM for monarch-themed crafts, hands-on activities, and monarch tagging!

Never tagged a monarch before? 🦋 Monarch tagging is a citizen-science project where a tiny, lightweight identification tag is carefully placed on a monarch’s wing before it is released. The tag helps researchers learn more about monarch migration and their incredible journey south!

Those who tag a monarch can also enter to win one of the beautiful pollinator-attracting perennials generously donated by Landmark Landscaping in Breckenridge! How beautiful are these flowers!?

A huge thank you to Paul and Tonya at Landmark Landscaping for helping us celebrate and support our pollinators today! 💛

Come on down, make a craft, learn about monarchs, tag a butterfly, and enjoy Headwaters Day with us! 🦋🌼
