In celebration of Women's History Month, we want to recognize Mrs. Cora M. Vail who was the first mail carrier for the Olinda oil fields. She started in July of 1901 and her route include Olinda, Brea Canyon and Puente La Harbra. It was the wild country route that no one else wanted. She delieved to six communities for more that 10 years. An amazine Lady and a single mother. One of only a few women mail carriers in America at the time. Read more about her below, and check out her story at the Fullerton museum.
