We are the writers, photographers and full technical staff of the magazine. We set out from the beginning, to create a unique and comprehensive guide to the mountains, to help all those interested in finding things to do, and places to go.

Due to a small landslide along the Park's main road, caused by recent rainfall, Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park will be closed June 1st - 5th while road repairs are completed.

Note: this closure only affects the Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park access. The Rumbling Bald Access remains open.

We will continue to share updates on the Parkโ€™s reopening status on ChimneyRockPark.com and social media. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We hope to see you on the trails soon!
