Featuring rotating exhibits and a small gift shop. Admission is free; however, donations are welcomed & appreciated. Largest selection of local books.

The Branson Centennial Museum opened in 2012, as a celebration of Branson’s centennial. Rotating exhibits, will educate visitors and residents alike on not only the history of Branson, but of Taney County. A small bookstore/gift shop is also onsite. Now located in the heart of Downtown Branson in the former Branson Mercantile/Reish Shoe store. Twice as big, with more to see!

In the thousands of documents from the Freeland Collection, this one stood out to me as the best poem I've read "A Real Hill Billy". Written by Charles E. Reid from St. Louis, sent to W.E. Freeland (Editor of the Taney County Republican).

We're recently added two new Authors to our collection of books in the gift shop. Angie Roberts Harris, a local storyteller of children's books; and Claire Booth, a crime novelist who's main character is Sheriff of Branson. We have a short supply so come in soon to get your copy!
