Art is for EVERYONE! All are welcome here. The Crossing Arts is a nonprofit arts organization working to cultivate community connections through education, exposure to, and experiences with the arts. Access to the arts is instrumental in creating a more vibrant community, culture, and economy. We believe art is for EVERYBODY and aim to inspire and enrich our community for those who create, want to learn about creating, and those who appreciate the arts.

Thank YOU! To all the artists, bidders, donors, members, and shoppers of The Crossing Arts: we are endlessly grateful for your support.

Another 8x8 online auction has ended, and yet again we've come together to raise thousands of dollars to support critical, essential arts programs for our community.

None of this work can happen without people like you. Exhibitions for Minnesota artists. Featured Artist showcases for new and emerging artists. Classes to encourage adults to try something new or learn more about a media they love. Studio nights and art camps to help young people learn and grow.

Opportunities to connect, create, and belong.

All of this work we do together matters, and your support makes it possible.

Thank you for everything you do to create community connections through the arts in the Brainerd Lakes Area!

THANK YOU to all the artists who donated their work to help make this year's 8x8 auction and fundraiser so much fun! We cannot do this without you, and we are grateful for every ounce of talent and creativity you shared with us this year.

Don't need anymore artwork or 8x8s? Please consider opening the auction and submitting a donation to help us continue bringing critical visual arts programming to our community. Together, we can help the arts THRIVE in the Lakes Region!

Have plans Wednesday, November 4th? Well now you do! 🍻
Join us at Jack Pine Brewery from 5 - 8 pm for Pints for a Purpose!

Every $1 from a pint sold goes to The Crossing Arts and helps us continue to create art programs for The Brainerd Lakes Area, such as, creativity kits, teen nights, art camps for elementary and middle schoolers, and so much more!

And if hanging out with us and having a pint doesn't sound good enough, Tony Powers will be with playing live music! He's bringing some buddies with him, so it's sure to be a good time.

See you then!

🎉We have more than just 8x8 canvases in our Art Auction and Fundraiser this year!
Some of our lovely gift shop and gallery artists donated their artwork, and we couldn't be more excited! This year our 8x8 Auction also includes jewelry, hand thrown cups and mugs, a cutting board, and even an oil bottle!

Here are just a few photos of what we have, but there is so much more to see at The Crossing Arts. Make sure to stop in and see everything in person, photos just don't do them justice.

✨And don't forget to attend our 8x8 Celebration and Reception tomorrow night! Join us from 5-7pm for fun evening full of food, art, and fun conversations with our wonderful community. All our welcome to this free reception, so grab a friend and enjoy a night at The Crossing Arts.

🍁Ready to add some fall coziness to your home?
Then look no further than these wonderful prints and paintings we have from artist, Gretchen Scheidt!

🍂Gretchen, a Brainerd native who now lives in South Dakota, brought us a fresh batch of her fantastic leaf prints just in time for the autumn season.

Each piece is completely unique and will add a great touch to your home or work wonderfully as a gift to that friend who loves Fall and everything pumpkin spice 🎃.

The Crossing Arts is located in the heART of downtown Brainerd, MN. We're open Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 5pm, and Saturday, 10am -4pm.
