The Bradley Beach Historical Society (BBHS) invites the Jersey Shore Community to celebrate Lifeguards & Surfers: Heroes of the Sand & Surf on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 6 – 8 PM at the Bradley Beach Firehouse Banquet Hall.
Kicking off this first summer event. Long-time lifeguards and surfers will share stories covering topics from surf culture to competitions, rescues, and racy teen romances.
Refreshments will feature Aloha Eats, mouth-watering TropiCali Cuisine from FINS, our Silver Whistle Event Sponsor. Hand-crafted surfboards by local artists will be on view along with an engaging exhibit researched and designed by Sea Girt historian Vinnie Dicks. In addition, local vendors will offer a tempting array of sea-worthy Merch just in time for the summer season.
