Mark your calendars.

On July 10th, A. Banks Gallery is hosting a live painting event with Kira Fercho during the Bozeman art walk, 6–8 PM.

Kira is a modern impressionist painter known for her thick, juicy oil paintings, trained in Russian Impressionism and Western Tonalism. She paints the land, the people, and the culture of the West — Montana in particular.

Watching her work in person is something else entirely. She brings a kind of energy to the canvas that’s rare to witness up close.

This is one you don’t want to miss.

We’ll be sharing more about Kira and her work in the coming weeks leading up to the event.

We are honored to announce that A. Banks Gallery now represents Josh Clare.

There are no words to describe what it’s like to experience a Josh Clare painting in person. His work is beautiful and mesmerizing.

Josh Clare was born and raised in Utah and has believed he was an artist since his fifth grade teacher told him he was. He received his formal training at Brigham Young University Idaho, where he was introduced to oil painting and found mentors and instruction that shaped his career. He lives with his wife and five children in Cache Valley, Utah.

In his own words: paintings are magic. In the simple act of creation, a part of the artist gets stuck into the paint, and it stays there. Every so often, a painting reveals someone who truly saw something, truly felt it, and had to tell about it — and it changes you for good.

12 new pieces have landed, and they will not last.

Paul Waldum’s love of landscape painting began as a boy, hiking and climbing the mountains near his home in Livingston, Montana. Those early adventures left lasting impressions that still drive his work today.

After earning his art degree from Montana State University, Waldum developed a distinct serigraphy style that found its way into major galleries in Jackson, Scottsdale, New York City, and Santa Fe. Now working primarily in pastel and oil, he paints in the field to capture landscapes in their changing light, pulling viewers into a sense of peacefulness and tranquility.

There is something about opening a new shipment that never gets old, and this one had us especially excited.

These are the first two pieces to arrive from Frank Serrano, a new artist joining the A. Banks Gallery family. More of his work is on the way, and if the first two are any indication, you will not want to wait on this one.

If you want to be among the first to know when new Serrano pieces arrive, send us a direct message with your email or reach out through the contact form on our website and we will make sure you are on the list.

A. Banks Gallery is proud to announce that we are now representing Frank Serrano.

Considered one of today’s premier painters of the Western landscape, Frank has spent over three decades developing a style rooted in the dramatic atmospheric light and sweeping terrain that define the American West. Based in California’s Owens Valley, his work draws on deep study of masters like Maynard Dixon, Frank Tenney Johnson, and Sam Hyde Harris — and carries that tradition forward with remarkable skill.

Frank is a signature member of the Historic California Art Club, has been featured in Art of the West, Southwest Art, Plein Air Magazine, Western Art Collector, and American Artist, and has even taught painting technique at Disney Animation Studios. His paintings are held in private collections, museum exhibitions, and galleries across the country.

We are honored to bring his work back to Bozeman.

Stop in to see it in person, or shop his available pieces now through the link in our bio.
