Huge congratulations to Darcie Peet on incredible coverage in the Art Renewal Center’s new book featuring winners and finalists from the 17th and 18th International Realism Salons. From roughly 3,500 entries across 72 countries, Darcie’s “Lavender Twilight” took First Place in the Landscape Category, with “Humbling. Approaching Denali” and “Whisper of Spring Yet to Come” both named finalists.

Two spectacular new wildlife pieces just arrived from pastel artist Terry Donahue. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Terry pursued wildlife art full-time after earning his BFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He chose pastel as his medium in the late 80s specifically to develop his own artistic identity, wanting no ambiguity: work you’d recognize as his the moment you saw it.

The gallery has started to look a little different this past week, and that’s because we’ve been keeping a huge secret.

We are now representing Rip Caswell, and his garden-size sculptures have transformed our space. We couldn’t be more thrilled to share this remarkable work with you.

Rip Caswell is recognized as one of America’s major names in bronze sculpture, with work found in public spaces, commercial developments, and private collections across all 50 states and abroad. He’s an official partner of National Geographic, and passionate about conservation, using his art to support veterinary programs and organizations that protect wild habitats. Through his sculptures, Caswell invites viewers on a journey into the wild, hoping the eyes of each piece serve as a window into the spirit of the animal it captures.

The show is up, and here’s the man behind it: William “Lucky” Davis.

A fifth-generation Montanan, Lucky’s work is inspired by his childhood on the family ranch and a lifetime spent among Montana’s mountains, skies, and rivers. His style, influenced by Tonalism, isn’t about representation; it’s a reflection of nature’s moods and emotions.
