Fuel the Future of Art!
Spark! is one of the programs supported by our 2026-27 Learning & Engagement campaign and we hope we can count on your support!

SPARK! is a free program specifically designed to make BMoCA’s art exhibitions accessible for visitors with early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caregivers.

Funds raised through September 30th will go twice as far thanks to a generous $25,000 Challenge Grant from a Boulder family. Help us meet our $50,000 goal and fuel the future of art in Boulder and beyond!

Programs that benefit are ARTLab, ArtStop, Spark!, Studio Project, Contemporary Classroom and Youth Art Camps.

BMoCA’s Studio Project

Have a teen interested in art and who enjoys hanging out with their peers? Encourage them to apply to our current semester of the Studio Project Teen Program! The FREE program is open to all 9th–12th graders in Boulder and surrounding counties.

EACH SEMESTER TEENS WILL:
- Explore various art making styles & mediums;
- Select guest artists to serve as artist mentors;
- Discuss social issues & create opportunities to impact their communities;
- Share their artwork & ideas with others through art shows or gatherings.

Fall applications due by September 12, 2026 @ 5pm.

Drawing Club
Friday, August 21, 2026
5 - 8pm

No pressure, no registration, no risk, no kidding! Come and hang out with fellow creatives in Boulder, bring your sketch pads, drawing tools, and whatever. Paints are OK too. Some basic art tools will be supplied. You are welcome to bring art supplies to donate or share. Cool music, light snacks and great community.

Cost: Free, donations accepted
For all ages, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us at BMoCA on Saturday, August 22 from 10am - 2pm for a day full of art vendors and creatives! We will be hosting an array of artisan vendors in our air conditioned Event Space upstairs, our museum will be open, featuring Tres Voces, Una Corazón, and the Farmers Market happening outside on 13th Street is a bonus. Come shop small and support your local art scene.

Free with Pay From Your Heart museum admission.
