Ok friends, let's talk HOLIDAY CARDS! 🤩

Please read all the way through:
⭐Cards are available for purchase through my website (linked below).
⭐Boxes are sold as sets of 10 cards with envelopes. There is also an option to design your own combo box.
⭐Shipping as well as limited local pickup is available (pickup at PCC in Bothell, WA on three dates: Nov. 30th, Dec. 2nd and 4th). Please know that you can update your pickup date/time by clicking on the date during checkout to see all the available options.
⭐Due to a delay in my own materials shipment. Please be aware that the first shipment of cards will be mailed out next Wednesday Nov. 24th.

For everyone that has been so patiently waiting for holiday cards, I just want to say THANK YOU! 🙏 It has been a logistical nightmare these last few weeks trying to coordinate this all. But I promise I have been diligently working and will be updating TOMORROW on where and how to purchase 🥳. For local friends and family, there will be a few dates immediately following Thanksgiving with pickup options at PCC in Bothell, WA (details tomorrow). And of course shipping will always be an option. There are 9 new designs this year as well as last year's designs available. Here are a few of the new ones. ☺️

When I first started drawing holiday card designs last year, Troy (my fiancé 😍) wanted to have a go at drawing on the iPad... When his unfinished drawing was paired with some witty humor, the end result was an epic card design that we were thoroughly entertained by. 😂 Excited about the idea of creating that magic again, we vowed that he would get to draw one design every year.... So, without further ado, to help you get excited about the launch of this year's cards (stay tuned!!).... Let me introduce you to Troy's 2021 design!! Don't worry, I explained his creative genius for you. 😆

In case you were wondering... Holiday cards are coming very soon!! 🤩

And in anticipation of the launch of this year's cards, I wanted to give you all a sneak peak at the very beginning stages of one of this year's designs. Make no mistake about it, this is HOURS of dedicated work, simplified into a matter of seconds. 😅 Digital drawing is an entirely different experience than simple pencil and paper drawing and working through all of it's complexities tests my patience on a daily basis. Alongside the incredible frustrations, digital drawing also provides a lot of benefits, one of which is the ability to record a time-lapse video that allows me to reflect back on my own creative process. ☺️ Stay tuned to see how this one turns out! And to anyone else out there working through the highs and lows of learning something new, keep going ♥️.

Today, I give myself credit for putting paint on a canvas... Not because I needed to, or wanted to, but because I chose to. And that choice is perpetually difficult for me. As much as I want everything I paint to be a masterpiece, it just simply will not be, and I cannot wait to only work in those moments. Did I have a plan for this painting? Not really. I anticipate that it will change directions many times and may very well never turn into anything at all, and I am going to try to remind myself, "that is ok" every step of the way. These are the days when painting is incredibly frustrating and I question my ability and my creativity and I often want to quit doing art entirely.... But true talk: creative ideas don't come from staring at a blank canvas... And skill doesn't improve without first making mistakes.... So here I am, taking deep breaths and creating a mess that I can hopefully learn and grow from.
