Featured work from First Look: A Second Glance 2025! On view now through April 28th at The Wall Gallery at Panopticon.
This exhibition highlights standout submissions from our First Look jurying process, works that truly resonated with us but weren’t part of the final five selections.
This year is especially exciting, as First Look: A Second Glance also marks the inaugural show for The Wall Gallery, our new rotating space dedicated to small-scale, unframed prints.

Less than a month to view First Look 2025!

This exhibition makes up work from five unique photographers each with a distinct voice and vision. Through their work, they explore themes of memory, identity, time, and place, capturing moments that reflect both the personal and the universal.
From the exploration of intimate urban landscapes to the profound impact of the human experience, these artists share their perspectives on life, nature, and the emotions that bind us all.
This selection of images in this hurried exhibition offers a unique perspective, inviting us to explore the ideas of memory, identity, time, and place through the eyes of the artist

First look is on view at Panopticon Gallery till April 28th.

Featured work from our current exhibition First Look 2025!

Through black & white photography, Andriana Nativio reimagines girlhood as an uncharted world-one where curiosity overcomes caution, and nostalgia lingers like a shadow. Her work captures the fleeting magic of childhood summers spent wandering through woods, rivers, and fields, transforming the landscape into a realm that belonged only to them.
Drawing from folklore, mythology, and personal memory, Nativio challenges narratives that cast the wild as a space of fear for young girls. Instead, she reveals it as a place of self-discovery-where they could exist freely, away from the gaze of the world.

Featured artist from our current exhibition First Look 2025!

Garber captures those brief moments when direction shifts, and weightlessness takes over. Based off of early single-image panoramic photographs they use a modified camera to create overlapping, continuous images, each roll of film unfolds unpredictably, much like the people in the frames. The series invites viewers to reflect on how both movement and stillness shape our perception of the world.

Weekly feature from our current exhibition First Look 2025!

Anne Sol’s work explores the fluidity of memory, blending photography, and mixed media techniques to create emotional, layered compositions. By revisiting personal archives, she transforms moments frozen in time into evolving, tactile pieces where reality and imagination coexist. Her art invites viewers to engage with the subjective nature of memory, where clarity and blur intertwine, encouraging a deeper reflection on how we perceive time and experiences. Each piece challenges the boundaries of mediums, offering a silent narrative that resonates long after it’s seen.

Come see Anne Sol’s work along with others in our gallery. First Look 2025 is up till April 28th

Featured work from our current exhibition First Look 2025!

‘Where They Still Remain’ honors the rich histories of African American and Wampanoag communities on Martha’s Vineyard. Through photography and archival work, Austin Bryant brings light to forgotten stories, challenging stereotypes and preserving the legacy of those who’ve called the island home for centuries.
