The latest Banknote series of the Indian Rupee is certainly beautiful, it’s available in several colorful denominations including florescent blue , magenta and lavender . Each one has a picture of Mahatma Gandhi as well as cultural symbols such as Indias Sun Temple .

One of the most unusual coins is the 1943 penny , struck for only one year the penny was made of steel to save copper for WW II munitions , so all 1943 Pennie’s serve as precious relics of the that time in history . #1943

We are not alone in thinking this is a good looking Banknote even the International Bank Note Society thinks this is one of the most beautiful and aesthetically appealing bank notes ! We know that John Quincy Adams was born in Braintree MA was a senator , served as a representative and was our 6th President but did you know he was an avid coin collector ?! After his death the collection made it into the hands of The Massachusetts Historical Society and in 1971 it was auctioned off to modern collectors

Chinese New Year started January 22 but the celebrations can last up to 16 days, the first 7 are a public holiday . The Year of The Rabbit means a year of calm and kindness ! This year coincides with the element water. Those born to this year are encouraged to spend in their elder years to preserve longevity , the last water year was 1963.
