There’s a lot to see and do during a visit to the Boothbay Railway Village. Our thirty acre setting includes more than two dozen buildings many of which are filled with displays of artifacts related to Maine’s railroading history, the advent of the automobile and the everyday life of Mainers from the mid-eighteenth through the mid-nineteenth centuries. Our outstanding Model Railroad Exhibit is still under construction and visitors witness the changes first hand as they visit time and again.

Once again, we wish to thank all sponsors and attendees of the 3rd Annual Cocktails & Chrome event last weekend. The heartwarming evening was yet another reminder of how incredible our community is, and how blessed we are to be a part of it.

The Museum is so much more than a fun day out! This is just one of many examples showing how the Museum creates a lifetime impact. Years ago, Cameron was a little boy awestruck by trains. Today, he is a young adult volunteering his time to sustain that same impactful experience for future generations. Have you reserved your tickets yet? Cocktails & Chrome at Boothbay Railway Village Museum is fast approaching and you do NOT want to miss this special evening of friends, lobster, and dancing under the full moon of August!
What's even better? You can feel fantastic about having an awesome night out! All event proceeds will benefit the Railway Village Museum capital campaign for automotive preservation. The campaign will support the development of a new 8,000-square-foot building, adjacent to the Antique Auto Museum and reminiscent of an early Ford dealership, that will include state-of-the-art facilities for our campus and community.
