This post card from the Museum's Collection was mailed in Bolivar in 1916 for one cent.

This photograph looks southeast toward the old brick courthouse on the square in 1905. The old courthouse would be razed later that year to make room for the new courthouse. Note the carbon arc street light suspended in the foreground. These served to light up the night around the square until 1912.
